We are not able at this time to offer an emergency Paediatric service.

 

Therefore we cannot offer consultation for the following conditions:

 

Acute trauma (for instance injury following road accident, falls, cuts)

Burns

Suspected sepsis

Fractures

Acute collapse

Acute seizures

Head injury

Acute respiratory illness

Acute diabetic complications

Baby Wellness

 

Our Specialist Nurses are available to help you through the uncertainty of the normal development of your Child, and offer support when appropriate. They are not available to help you manage chronic medical problems, including respiratory illness, gastrostomies, central lines, diabetes, home ventilation, epilepsy etc.

 

Indemnity

 

All of our Specialists have practice Indemnity through one of the recognised Medical Protection Organisations, or other Professional body.

 

Safeguarding

 

We are sure that you will understand when we ask you for your GP and Health Visitor name and address, or your child's School Nurse, and support us when we send a summary of all consultations between yourselves and our Specialists to them.

 

Pre-payment

 

We will soon be asking for pre-payment over the telephone before confirming your Out-Patient appointment with our Specialists
